IP Innovation Diversity Sprint Event for Michigan State University’s Law Students
Harness IP’s CEO, William (Bill) Coughlin, along with other attorney volunteers from the firm, hosted the inaugural IP Innovation Diversity sprint event for Michigan State University law students on Saturday, March 27th.
The daylong competition provided students with a unique opportunity to dive into the world of intellectual property law. Along with IP counsel from four corporations, Bill facilitated the event program that tasked students to tackle real-world IP problems currently faced by Harness IP’s event partners. The students were paired up with Harness IP attorney mentors for support and feedback.
The event was a huge success. Bill and the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee are looking for additional ways to connect and introduce IP law to college and high school students in metro Dallas, St. Louis, Detroit and D.C. The firm is looking forward to continued involvement with MSU law!
