Harness IP Adds Four Professionals

Harness IP is pleased to announce the addition of four professionals across its Metro Detroit, Dallas, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. offices.

Chris Bond joins the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Metro Detroit headquarters. He brings nearly ten years of combined IP experience to his practice as a patent attorney. Bond’s knowledge includes a vast array of technology areas that include automotive hardware and software, imaging systems, consumer electronics, mechanical devices, and medical devices. He holds a J.D. and MBA from Wayne State University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a B.A., with Honors, in German Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.

Claire Green serves as an Associate in the firm’s Metro St. Louis office. She has experience managing patent prosecution efforts from start to finish, including conducting patentability assessments, interviewing inventors, preparing U.S. and international applications, responding to Office Actions, and preparing IP licensing agreements following issuance. Green’s technical experience spans the mechanical, electromechanical, and electronics sectors, and includes technologies such as heavy machinery, rail transportation, computer systems, LCD displays, solar panels, and autonomous vehicles. She holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Daniel Kim is an Associate in the firm’s Metro Washington, D.C. office. Kim’s practice will focus on patent procurement with an eye toward cohesive IP and business strategies. Kim has experience working with various technology fields, including biomaterials, electronic materials, drug delivery systems, semiconductors and organic semiconductors, cyber and data security, and internet of things technologies. Aside from handling patent matters, he also has experience in trademark law as well as fair use laws concerning copyrights. He perceived his J.D. at American University Washington College of Law and M.S. and B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Spenser Schwabe joins the firm as a Patent Agent in the firm’s Metro Dallas office. Her practice focuses primarily on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for clients in the medical device field. Schwabe holds a J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. In addition, she earned a Lean Six Sigma certification. Schwabe recently took the Texas Bar Exam. She is awaiting for the early November results.
