Hemant M. Keskar
Principal / Detroit Metro Office
For more than a decade, Hemant has prepared and prosecuted patent applications, conducted legal research, authored opinions related to various aspects of IP law, and advocated his client’s position in Inter Partes Review. Hemant focuses on what his clients want to achieve specifically in terms of distinct goals for each matter. Not only does he deliver the requisite technical expertise, but also the persuasive communication skills needed to achieve the desired objective.
Hemant has obtained hundreds of patents. He is particularly effective in communicating and negotiating with Patent Examiners, and in working with them to clearly articulate what they need upfront in order to approve a given patent. Hemant’s rate of success for obtaining patents is high, so he rarely proceeds to appeal. Should an appeal ensue, however, Hemant’s mission is to deliver persuasive and effective arguments that generate the right result.
