Harness IP Principal Selected to The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 for Virginia
Harness IP is pleased to announce that patent attorney John Ambrose, Jr. has been selected for inclusion into The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia. This exclusive membership is limited to the top 40 attorneys under the age of 40 in each state who have demonstrated excellence and have achieved outstanding results in their careers.
Ambrose’s practice involves preparing and prosecuting domestic, international and PCT patent applications in the electrical, computer, and electromechanical fields. His experience includes technologies that range from telecommunication systems to data storage structures, semiconductor devices, and integrated circuits.
In addition, Ambrose is actively engaging with innovative new technologies pertaining to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is currently teaching himself how to utilize powerful Machine Learning resources to create useful projects on Microsoft’s Azure platform, as well. Ambrose serves as one of the firm’s leading resources on the topic and has been quoted by Law360 on the subject.
Ambrose received his J.D. from the College of William and Mary and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia. He serves on the Diversity Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and is a member of the Intellectual Property Section within the National Bar Association. Locally, Ambrose is a member of the Northern Virginia Black Attorney’s Association and the Old Dominion Bar Association.
