Harness IP is pleased to announce three of its attorneys have been elected as Principals of the Firm: Alex Chang, Hemant Keskar, and Chris Miller.

Alex Chang is located in the Reston, VA office. Alex’s practice includes drafting and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications in the chemical and electromechanical arts, including vapor and aerosol generation and dispensing, radiopharmaceutical production, particle detection, nuclear reactor systems, organic memory devices and semiconductor processing. Alex is also experienced in competitive analytics and prepares opinions regarding patentability, validity, non-infringement and freedom-to-operate. Alex obtained his J.D. from Emory University and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Hemant Keskar is located in the Troy, MI office. Hemant prepares and prosecutes patent applications, conducts legal research, authors opinions related to various aspects of IP law, and advocates his client’s position in Inter Partes Reviews. Hemant is involved in a variety of specialized technical fields, including the electrical and electromechanical arts.  He offers an in-depth understanding of wireless communications and data storage technologies, and has experienced first-hand the rapid expansion of these technologies.   Hemant obtained his J.D. from Wayne State University and has a double B.S. in Physics and Electronics Engineering from University of Bombay, India.

Chris Miller is located in the Dallas, TX office.  Chris’ practice is focused on patent preparation and prosecution. He has significant experience developing and managing large domestic and worldwide patent portfolios. His technical experience includes oilfield technology, nanotechnology, metallurgy, materials, sporting goods, firearms, electronic controls, flares, medical devices, automobiles, agricultural and industrial equipment, chemical injection systems and other technologies. Chris is also experienced in trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, licensing, confidentiality and joint development agreements, management and policing of intellectual property assets, and litigation involving disputes over intellectual property assets. Chris obtained his J.D. from The University of Tulsa College of Law and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
