Harness IP Elects Dallas Patent Attorney Chris Cauble as a New Principal in 2017
Harness IP, one of the country’s largest and most respected intellectual property law firms, announced today that Chris Cauble has been named among the firm’s newly elected Principals for 2017. Cauble, who is a native of Granbury, Texas, joined the firm in March 2015 when it opened its first office in the state and brought its full-service intellectual property solutions closer to businesses in Dallas and throughout the South.

Cauble primarily focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patents, but he also has experience with trademarks, copyrights, and Inter Partes Review proceedings. His clients include companies in the medical device industry as well as in energy production, where he holds extensive experience with technologies pertaining to upstream oil and gas equipment manufacturing; downhole oil and gas tools; subsea well drilling and completions; riser support devices for offshore rigs; and pump technologies for both downhole and surface applications.
Cauble earned a J.D. from Southern Methodist University and holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Religious Studies from the same school. He works in the firm’s Metropolitan Dallas office located in Frisco, TX.
