Metro Dallas Patent Attorney Stephanie Dowdy Named to Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” List

Harness IP is proud to share that Metro Dallas patent attorney Stephanie Dowdy has been named to the Texas Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers. This marks the second consecutive year in which she has been named among the 2.5% of attorneys to earn the prestigious Rising Star status.

Dowdy’s practice focuses primarily on obtaining patent rights for technology leaders in the mechanical and electromechanical fields. Her expertise includes fields such as robotics, HVAC systems and compressors, automotive systems and controls, firearms, and refining and processing equipment.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Dowdy is an active member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She is the Chair of the Public Relations Committee within the State Bar of Texas IP Section, and has hosted several events for the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) “Women in IP” series.

Dowdy holds a J.D. and an MBA from Wayne State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Nominations for Rising Stars is based on a rigorous, multi-step system of peer reviews and independent research to evaluate key indicators of professional success. Rising Stars honorees must also be under 40 and have practiced law for 10 years or less.
