Our diverse support staff have varied educational and experiential backgrounds, with many having advanced degrees. Entry level candidates are also welcomed with an outstanding training program that includes intellectual property prosecution, litigation, and technological learning.

Technical Specialists
Technical Specialists at Harness IP have the opportunity to assist in patent preparation and prosecution. Working at the firm provides exposure to intellectual property law and training for candidates who are considering taking the U.S. Patent Bar Exam or enrolling in law school. Patent Agents
Patent Agents at Harness IP have the opportunity to assist in patent preparation and prosecution. Working at the firm provides multi-dimensional perspective on intellectual property law and practice for those who are already registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The wide variety of technical art exposure allows our Patent Agents to experience a diverse technological workload that is challenging, interesting and career building.
We actively seek Patent Agents with technical undergraduate degrees in engineering, including mechanical, electrical, chemical and computer engineering, as well as degrees in computer science, chemistry, and biology, among many other technical disciplines. Foreign and PCT Filing Staff
Foreign filing professionals work on international patent filings around the globe. Our close-knit foreign filing team coordinates urgent deadlines; navigates foreign law; accesses foreign documents; estimates costs for all countries for patents, utility patents, trademarks, and designs; and manages the foreign filing of patents, trademarks, and trademark renewals worldwide.
PCT professionals utilize the latest tools available, including ePCT, PCT SAFE, and DAS (Digital Access Service) in order to assist Harness IP clients to effectively manage their international IP portfolios. PCT staff also take advantage of strategic programs (such as the PPH fast-track examination process) to streamline the global IP management process. PCT staff are focused on filing and prosecuting PCT applications throughout the international phase, as well as filing U.S. national phase applications based on PCT applications from around the world.
