This is the 11^th year of Mockler being named to Super Lawyers’ list. For Welch, this marks the 14^th year that he is a Super Lawyers honoree. As the leader of the firm’s Frisco office, his practice focuses on serving clients in the medical device, healthcare, electrical, and energy production and delivery industries. Welch routinely performs due diligence investigations, clearance studies for introducing new products and handles post-issuance procedures before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also counsels clients on the best strategies to monetize their intellectual property portfolios.

The honor, which is granted to only the most respected lawyers, includes no more than 5% of lawyers in each state. Nominations for Super Lawyers are based on a rigorous, three-step system of peer reviews and independent research to evaluate key indicators of professional success.
